Dec 31, 2022 at 5:25 comment added Brandin Does the Apache code contain a NOTICE text file? For Apache, this is where you are required to place attributions (and a redistributor is required to reproduce "a readable copy" of those notices).
Dec 31, 2022 at 5:23 comment added Brandin Does the copy of the source code released (before it went private) correctly follow the Apache license requirements? Since it was accidentally made public, I'm not sure how much this really matters, since I suppose the intention was not to distribute it yet, but only to announce it.
Dec 31, 2022 at 2:08 comment added 4Bro77 As I recall, he obtained a copy of their source code about a month ago. Im not sure if he can grab their binaries since they havent released the mod yet. Would the copy be sufficient and even legal to use as evidence?
Dec 31, 2022 at 1:18 comment added apsillers Do you still have a copy of the new mod's source code? I'd also advise grabbing a copy of the binary now, in case they replace it with one that has been obfuscated.
